Product Introduction
VIC is a fluorescent dye originally developed by Applied Biosystems(now Thermofisher). The spectrum of VIC is the green and yellow part of the visible spectrum. It is used to fluorescentially label oligonucleotides at the 5' end (as probes in various real-time PCR, hybridization, and fluorescence-based genetic analysis applications). VIC phosphonide is the most convenient product to incorporate VIC tags into oligonucleotides.
